Celebrate someone special with Panda Meander
Among the 30 pandas arriving in Cambridge in spring 2027 will be one very special sculpture: our Celebration Panda, sponsored by Cambridge Building Society.
The Celebration Panda is your opportunity to recognise someone who has made a difference in your life. It could be a much-loved family member, a special friend, or a member of hospital staff who was there when you needed them most.
celebrate someone special - dedicate a paw print
With just 500 paw prints available, this is a unique opportunity to celebrate someone special. Dedicate a paw print in their name and it will be hand-painted onto our Celebration Panda, which will take pride of place in a prime location on the Panda Meander trail for everyone to visit and enjoy.
For a suggested donation of £30, simply complete the online form to dedicate your paw print.

Make a difference
Your dedication will not only celebrate someone important to you, but will also help raise vital funds for children’s care across Addenbrooke’s and the Rosie, including helping to build the new Cambridge Children’s Hospital.
“It was a real honour to be invited by Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust to design the Hero Panda. Having enjoyed Wild in Art trails with my daughter, it felt especially meaningful to be part of one so close to home. Translating my illustration work onto a sculptural form was a unique and rewarding challenge, and being able to reflect the character of Cambridge in the design made it even more special. Seeing my daughter’s excitement for the finished piece has been a highlight – and I can’t wait to see the trail come to life.”
